Interesting carving. Probably not done by a master, but still quite nice. It has interesting features I haven't seen often.

By all accounts the people who decorated the interior of the house in the 1800s imported the carvings, much of which was on furniture to be dismantled and converted into wall panels etc. This panel is on a door.

The house is the venue for an annual sculpture exhibition. I spent more time studying the house itself !
